SMT and Packaging Lines for a "Connected City" LED Streetlights network
High Reliability LED Streetlights connected into a network that manages their performance, brightness and power consumption and does a healthcheck of each lamp at any given moment becomes a reality.
We supplied production equipment for several phases of this advanced production site. Our customer probably, now manufactures the most reliable LED streetlights with a fantastic power efficiency and reliability.
Production kit includes a packaging line of “island” type (each main system works as magazine-to-magazine) with a bespoke tooling concept for multi-chip LED modules of various shapes. Machines used in production are split into the main line and lab / prototype line for a better flexibility and smooth introduction of new products. LED production is accompanied with top facility for LED tests and measurement which is CE certified.
Power supply units for LED streetlights and other products are assembled by a set of SMT lines, one for a high volume 24/7 operation and another for high mix small batch production. Assembly facility has a number of advanced auxiliary units, such as split view BGA placement stations.
